B. J Ashpoles are Engine re-manufacturers based in Bishop's Stortford, they have been trading for over 46 years, and are members of the Federation of Engine Re-manufacturers.
They work all sorts of engines from 1899 onwards, and from single cylinder to multicylinder commercials. In addition to the usual grinding, boring, welding, refacing sort of work, they can also white metal bearings, and have a full precision engineering workshop, so they can cater for gearboxes or any mechanical component.
Their stores can identify and source parts for a wide range of older vehicles. Their website will eventually have pictures of some of the more interesting work that they have carried out, but at present is still under construction.
